I am a Bolivian and naturalized-Italian PhD Researcher and freelance photographer. I combine my research on socio-economic issues with photographic storytelling. My passion lies in narrating compelling and thought-provoking stories, transcending the typical portrayals of social challenges. I like to think that my work is a mix between Bolivian melancholy, Italian Renaissance and Ugandan colors.
I am a strong supporter of increasing ethics in photography and in research; thus, I provide full information to the people I photograph, asking for verbal or written consent, as well as involving them in narrating the story (ethics statemenet thread).
